A: Not everybody needs a coach. Most people, though, find that it is best to have an objective partner guiding them through what can be a challenging a somewhat frightning process. Often I will suggest a resource, such as a book I've found helpful, to my clients in addition to the exercises I assign to meet your needs. Take the quiz on this site to see if a personal authentic living coach is right for you.
A: Therapists are licensed and have educational credentials that an authentic living coach may not necessarily possess. As life coaches, we honor the value of both formal education and life experience learning. That said, most life coaches do have strong educational backgrounds, are lovers of learning and some are licensed therapists. I have a degree in Psychology and many years of experience in various forms of counseling and program facilitation.
A: I offer a number of workshops and am available to facilitate sessions for any size group. "Authentic Living 101" is the best starter workshop. It is 2 hours long. Use the Contact Me page to ask for details.
A: Your initial assessment is free. Upon review I will prepare a course of weekly exercises that will lead you to an agreed upon goal. Costs will vary. At this time I am not able to accept payment via insurance carriers.
A: I accept credit card payments through PayPal. This is a trusted, safe, and secure method of payment. Most major credit cards are accepted. Local clients pay by cash, check or credit card.
A: Thanks to the Internet, I am able to offer assistance to those too far away to visit with me in person. So if you are not in Maine, I will consult with you via email and phone. You will receive downloadable exercises which I will review and discuss with you as we work together to get you back on path!
